Use Google SITES and Blogger to create pages to show the work by students

Google Sites has a nice look
Students can use Google Sites and Blogger to capture information.  Their work is part of the "Creator" initiative.  Students can show their learning by talking about a photo.

See these videos.

Ask students to collect funny videos

It is also fun to share funny videos, such as this cat that flushes a toilet.  We can learn and remember more by discussing funny videos.   Some students like to make collections of funny videos.

FUNNY VIDEOS can be fun to collect and share (and talk about)

Cooperative games allow students to solve puzzles together. TRY Water Girl and Fire Boy from FRIV.com

A game of cooperation can help people work together.
"Wait!"
"Help me!"
"Go up first, then go down."

These are commands and statements that cooperating players use.

Duolingo is an easy way to engage students -- especially if they use Google Translate with the program

Some of our students decided to take charge of the class.

Maria Montessori said that "The students are learning and acting as if I don't exist."   That's the ideal.  Let the students lead.

One of my students asked to practice English with Duolingo in class.   It was fun to work with the students to beat the test.  "What's the answer, teacher?"  was the first question, but then the students asked, "Help me with this question."
